You won't go far wrong with the 200 ALP, the Suzuki engine is very reliable and the bike has a fantastic turning circle, I rode one that was second hand a few years back and I found it more 'lively' probably due to the gearing than my new at the time CRF230 and the Beta was 1/3rd of.

Hi everyone, I've recently got myself a Beta Alp 200 (2001 model) as a project, it's missing the pretty much all the electrics so was wondering if it would be possible to fit the required parts from a suzuki DR200 as the parts for these are more common on ebay and the beta shares the same.

I am very strictly in the wobbler category so have no need for the latest, lightest, most powerfull trials bike. For road riding I only need something for local B roads. No great distances intended.
